Jessica, one of the owners at Orca Roofing & Exteriors, brings a unique perspective shaped by a decade of hands-on experience in her own home remodels. Frustrated by the lack of reliability and customer-centric focus among subcontractors, she identified a gap in the industry and envisioned a company that truly places customers at the forefront. Jessica’s extensive background in managing contractors for over 100 projects at Orca Homes laid the foundation for her role at Orca Roofing & Exteriors.

In her position, Jessica plays a vital role in guiding marketing, overseeing the customer experience, and managing human resources. Her satisfaction comes from witnessing happy customers and realizing the company’s vision of delivering an exceptional customer experience and high-quality roofing and exterior projects. She aspires for Orca Roofing & Exteriors to be the contractor of choice – emphasizing great communication, transparency, and stunning exteriors with the customer always at the center.

Beyond her professional commitments, Jessica is a passionate sports enthusiast, ardently cheering on the Seahawks, Kraken, and Sounders. Her personal motto centers around kindness, “Be kind; everyone you meet is navigating their unique challenges.”

Erik Trefzger

Erik, one of the owners at Orca Roofing & Exteriors, brings a wealth of experience and a customer-centric perspective to the roofing industry. With a decade of hands-on experience in construction and building, he identified a significant gap in the home services sector, prompting the creation of a company dedicated to superior customer satisfaction. During his remodeling projects, Erik was dissatisfied with the lack of reliability and customer focus of subcontractors. He founded Orca Roofing & Exteriors in response to fill this gap.

As the owner, Erik guides team management, sets priorities, and selects projects at Orca Roofing & Exteriors. His commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of our work. Erik is passionate about exceeding industry standards through personalized projects, finding fulfillment in making customers happy, and tackling challenges other roofing companies might avoid. His vision for Orca Roofing & Exteriors is straightforward — aiming to be a major player in the Seattle area roofing market with consistent year-over-year growth.

Outside of roofing, Erik enjoys sailing, lacrosse, and playing with his kids. He follows the motto “Be the man in the arena,” emphasizing the importance of taking action and trying things out. This mindset has driven the company to new heights in the roofing industry and truly is a motivation for everyone on the team.

Anna Ramos

Meet Anna, one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives at Orca Roofing & Exteriors. Drawing from her previous experience as a secretary, where she managed administrative tasks with precision, Anna brings a wealth of organizational skills to her role. She serves as the primary point of contact for our customers. Her responsibilities include handling calls from leads, guiding clients through every step of the process, and meticulously tracking leads for strategic planning.

What Anna truly enjoys about her work at Orca Roofing & Exteriors is the bond between her colleagues. She appreciates the friendly and helpful atmosphere, finding it refreshing and supportive. It’s the first time she’s felt this comfortable in a workspace, surrounded by people always ready to lend a hand whenever needed.

Wendy’s primary role as a Customer Service Representative at Orca Roofing & Exteriors is to provide exceptional customer support. Serving as the first point of contact for clients, Wendy ensures that their needs are met promptly and professionally. In addition, she plays a pivotal role in lead tracking, diligently following up on every inquiry to provide valuable insights to the marketing team and ensure precise analytics for the company.

What Wendy loves most about working at Orca Roofing & Exteriors is the genuine bond and human touch within our team. Surrounded by colleagues who understand the importance of teamwork, value hard work, have a great sense of humor, and show genuine kindness, Wendy finds fulfillment and motivation in her work environment.

Jessica Machadinho joined Orca Roofing & Exteriors in June 2025 as a Customer Service Representative. Although she didn’t have prior experience in roofing, her background in the insurance industry gave her valuable insights into the customer journey—an asset she now brings to her role.

At Orca, Jessica serves as a key point of contact for homeowners, helping guide them through the process with care and clarity. What she values most about working here is the team dynamic: everyone brings great energy and a genuine willingness to help, making it a supportive and uplifting work environment.

Juani Kinder joined Orca Roofing & Exteriors on May 26th, 2025, bringing a fresh perspective to the team as a Project Estimator and Architect. Although new to the roofing industry, Juani has embraced the opportunity to grow professionally while applying architectural expertise to support accurate and thoughtful project planning.

What Juani enjoys most about working at Orca is the chance to learn something new every day while being surrounded by a supportive, inspiring team. The collaborative culture and shared drive for excellence make each project both challenging and rewarding.

Outside the office, Damian unwinds with tennis, training along the scenic riverbanks of Vicente López, and expressing his creative side through photography. Cloe Galli joined Orca Roofing & Exteriors in March 2025 as the SEO and Content Specialist. Phaedra began her journey in roofing and waterproofing as an apprentice in 2016 and quickly developed a deep passion for the trade. By 2020, she achieved journeywoman status and has been on an unstoppable path ever since. With eight years of specialized experience in commercial roofing, she remains dedicated to practicing and continually enhancing her craft. In her spare time, Phaedra enjoys participating in women’s full-contact sports.

Project Manager - Steep Slope

Chris Schott

Chris Schott is a project manager with over 38 years of invaluable expertise in the roofing industry. Having dedicated his entire career since 1986 to roofing, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge passed down through generations. He learned the trade from his father and grandfather, Bill and Howard Snyder, both esteemed contractors.

Throughout his career, Chris has held various key positions in the industry, including Gold Seal Journeyman Roofer, Sales Manager/Manufacturing, Territory Manager/Distribution, Project Manager/Contracting, and Technical Services Manager/Manufacturing, all within the roofing sector.

At Orca Roofing & Exteriors, Chris serves in a unique “hybrid” role as a Sales/Project Manager. He oversees initial sales appointments, executes sales contracts, and meticulously manages projects to completion. What Chris values most about working at ORE is the collaboration among his colleagues and their shared commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining consistent communication, and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.

Beyond the office, Chris leads an active lifestyle. He is an avid snow skier, enjoys golfing, and the challenges of big game hunting during the fall and winter months, particularly archery deer and elk hunting. Additionally, Chris finds solace in salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska, indulges his passion for travel, and enjoys quality time with his wife and twin sons. As a proud supporter of Seattle’s sports teams, Chris can often be found rooting for the Seahawks, Kraken, and Mariners.

Peter is Orca Roofing’s metal expert and, although he’s still (barely) in his 20s, he has 10 years of experience in the roofing and metal industry as an installer. Besides obsessing over perfect standing seam metal roofs, Peter enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on vacation, and cheering on the Seahawks.

With a talent for listening to customers and expertly guiding them through each step of the process, Boris ensures that the experience is enjoyable for every homeowner.
